– Auctioneer Tom Greenow/Simon Allam/ David Willars
Breeding sheep are sold straight after the sale of store lambs, usually commencing at 1 pm. Catalogued sales are held throughout August, September and October, where numbers regularly exceed 1000. Entries for the catalogues close at 12 noon on the Thursday before the sale to allow sufficient advertising.
Sheep can be brought into the market from 6 am on Tuesdays or can come in on a Monday afternoon, with prior notification, where they can be kept in our lairage facilities.
