If Selliing Stock Farm Assued, please ensure that your Farm Assurance status is up to date, with all linked holdings registered to the Primary Holding in order to avoid deductions being applied at the time of slaughter.

TB Restricted Sales
We offer a range of services to farmers unwilling to take the risk of a TB test or for those under restrictions:
- TB Exempt market
In our weekly cattle sales, we have a TB exempt section to allow farmers to sell cattle that are untested, but that are eligible to be tested. These can be bought by our large range of abattoir clients and Assured Finishing Units (AFUs)
- Orange Markets
Where farms are under TB restrictions, we can sell cattle to AFUs and abattoirs in special ‘Orange’ sales. The cattle sold need to be TB tested clear within 90 days of sale and licensed off the premises by APHA. Farmers then benefit from the open market competition for their stock, often achieving hundreds of pounds more than bilateral private sales.
- Brokered private sales
Where there is not enough stock under restrictions to warrant and Orange Market being held, we can provide a brokerage service, using out contacts and knowledge of market prices to sell your stock privately to best advantage.
